I’ve posted some resources I made when recruiting my Digital Leaders
on my blog, in what I hope is a ‘downloadable’ form so anyone who
would find them useful can use them. The blog address is

There are three things:
1. The application form – a simple Word document that I uploaded to my
school’s VTLE for children interested in becoming a DL to complete and
submit either via the VTLE or by printing it off and handing it in.
2. A letter to parents explaining the role of DLs and explaining the
application process.
3. A template for the ID badges my DL team wear. I laminated these
and attached them to the same lanyards staff ID badges are on so they
are quite prestigious!
The resources are personalised for my school, but please amend and use if they are useful. I must give credit to Bev Evans as I downloaded the clipart on the badges from her website.
If you can’t download the resources from my blog but would like to use them, please email or tweet me and I can email them to you instead.

Excellent. Thank you so much for sharing your resources on the Digital Leader Network. I think other schools will find these really valuable. It looks like your Digital Leaders have achieved loads so far and I can’t wait to see how the project develops over the coming months.
