This afternoon, with the snow swirling and fluttering around outside, us little year 1′s at Kingswood Primary decided to have a bit of a blogfest. We went and pinched asked very nicely if we could borrow the iPads from their hiding place in Year 5(!), fired up the class laptops and went on a mission to see what they rest of the school had been up to by looking, reading and commenting on their blog posts. The children loved finding out about what the other classes have been learning, but some needed a little help navigating through the blogs and finding the @ symbol to type their email address when posting a comment…
Courtney & Keira came to everyone’s resuce! Like two little whirlwinds, they made sure everybody was posting comments in the right places and were on hand to give support where needed.
Thank you girls, you did a fantastic job today. Definitely Digital Leader material!!!

Well done Courtney and Keira! It’s always great to hear how are students can support others and you are starting very young! We are employing ‘mini-digital leaders’ at Roydon, because they are ICT smart and like to help others – just like you two! Keep up the good work!

I have two junior-technicians in our Y6 and a weekly cup for the best pupil in the school using ICT, we need mini leaders as well some great work sharing your skills with others, well done.
